As a specialist baby photographer servicing Brighton & beyond & having photographed thousands of babies since 2010, I can tell you that older baby photoshoots are full of wide eyed wonderment, gummy giggles & chubby baby rolls. Capturing this milestone age at your baby photoshoot yealds the most wonderful images.
During this photography session for your baby, little one will be around 6-9 months {ish} & be expected to sit unaided – always with a helping hand nearby in case of ‘wobbles’ but not yet actively crawling, trying to crawl is fine but these sessions are best when baby isn’t yet independently moving & little one hasnt yet lost their baby rolls & squish.
During the session with your brighton baby photographer, we will all be singing little ones favourite nursery rhymes, playing peek-a-boo, making silly animal noises & no doubt being as daft as possible to capture smiles, big eyes & curious expressions whilst your professional baby photographer captures your special memories of this fun age.

HOW IT WORKS
The warm & custom built photography studio in Worthing near Brighton was designed with client comfort in mind. Refreshments are provided & singing & being silly are encouraged whilst I work as your brighton baby photographer safely with your little one. With 10 years of senior Midwifery experience & having been a baby photographer near Brighton since 2010, your little one is in the safest of hands during your client journey with myself.
You don’t need to bring anything for your session as I have everything we need. You can opt to choose rustic wood foor or shabby chic white, all props & a multitude of outfits in every colour of the rainbow for ages 6-12 months of age are provided for your little ones session from the vast collection available. Which means it will complement your previous newborn photoshoot wonderfully. However, if this is your first time finding Honey Pie Photography, dont worry everyone is more welcome. Just let me know what colours you would like me to use & everything will be prepared specially by myself, Trina your photographer.
BOOKING IN
Clients can either book when baby hits that milestone age or book in early. In the latter case we would pick a month when we will touch base & communicate to see how baby is doing with regards to hitting that milestone, if baby isnt quite ready yet, thats absolutely fine, we can move the session out a month or so where necessary. You will be guided through the process of deciding when the right time is for your baby & every baby hits those milestones at different paces.
The start time of your session will be discussed during your pre consultation & will fall in line with your little ones schedule, this is to ensure as best we can that baby will be as happy as possible for our time together.
A £99 retainer is required in order to secure your booking. This will be refunded to you as a deduction from your chosen digital package when you are invited back to the studio for a relaxed ordering appointment to view your images 3 weeks after your session.

YOUR QUESTIONS
When is the best time to book?
The best time for a sitter session is when your baby is able to sit up unaided, but is not yet crawling. Usually this is around 6-9 months of age, but every baby is different & all progress through the milestones at different speeds. You can either book in advance to secure your booking in my diary – we would simply pencil in a date which we could move forwards or backwards depending if baby is sitting or not. Or you can pop me a message to book in when baby is sitting up in their own.  Send me a message using the contact form below to discuss your session further.
What do we need to bring for the session?
In a nutshell, absolutely nothing except your usual baby bag. I will liase with you prior to the shoot to advise what clothing you should wear & what any siblings attending should wear – Â should you or any older children wish to take part in a couple of images with your newest little one. Otherwise all props & clothing for baby will be provided by the vast prop collection within the Honey Pie studio. I do advise for this type of session that two responsible adults attend on the day of the shoot, in addition to myself.
What if my baby doesn't play ball?
Babies will be babies, however in advance of the session i will send over your session tips email which will help you prep for the session so we can plan ahead as much as possible for a happy baby. The start time of the session will also be tailored to the time little one usually wakes from their morning nap, if this is after midday we will start early in the morning to catch baby pre nap. I always encourage singing, peek-a-boo & a fun session time for little one so that baby (& adults alike) have a nice experience together.
How do we book?
Simply get in touch & let me know how old your baby is using the contact form below, £99 secures your booking & your shoot is then booked. The £99 is then taken off of your chosen digital package when you come to choose your images.
When do we see our images?
Following your session, around 3 weeks later you will be invited back to an ordering appointment to view your images this is when you will choose your digital package along with any additonal products.Â
